What's Included?

All prices are fully inclusive of airport surcharges, collision damage waiver (cdw), environmental tax, supplementary liability insurance, theft waiver, third party liability insurance, theft protection (tp), unlimited mileage and loss damage waiver (ldw).

Age restrictions and licence requirements

Minimum drivers age is 21 in all states except New York State where the minimum age is 18. There is no maximum age for rental. Drivers under 25 will be subject to a surcharge of USD 20 per day, in all states except New York State where drivers under 25 will be subject to a surcharge of USD 49.37 per day. Drivers must have held a full national driving licence for at least 1 year. If the licence is not legible or translated into English an international drivers licence must be provided. American licence holders are not accepted. Passport and credit card in renters name must be shown for identification. All endorsements are accepted.

Fuel conditions

You will be required to purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of pick up. Charge will be based on local fuel prices. Cars should be returned empty and no refunds will be given for unused fuel.

General restrictions

Cars can be driven into any state in the USA and Canada, but must be returned to the location from which you rented or charges may apply. We must be notified prior to your rental. You are not permitted to drive into Mexico. Driving cars off road voids your insurance.

Insurance details

You will be required to leave a deposit to the value of the insurance excess if collecting your car in New York state. If the car is damaged during the rental you may be charged an excess of USD 100 which will be debited from your deposit The holiday autos damage excess waiver product, if purchased at time of booking, will cover you for damage excess that you may be charged in the event of an accident (subject to certain exclusions, see terms and conditions for details).

Picking up your car

You will be required to leave a credit card imprint to cover the deposit of USD 100 per week/USD 25 per day. In New York State a deposit of USD 500 per week/USD 100 per day will be required. Cash deposit and travellers cheques will be accepted at selected locations. The lead driver must produce a valid passport, driving licence, return air ticket and utility bill which states home address.
