MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas
Sitting on the apex of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard, on the Las Vegas Strip is the MGM Grand Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

Originally a Hollywood themed resort, the MGM Grand has grown to become the second largest hotel in the world and second largest hotel resort complex in the United States behind another Las Vegas resident, The Venetian. The theme of MGM Grand Hotel and Casino is now more of the an Art Deco of the early Hollywood era, taking off any Oz-related theme. Since its renovation in the early part of the decade, the hotel started billing itself as The City of Entertainment and the resort started using the catchphrase, "Maximum Vegas" very recently. It pertains to the overload of amenities and activities that its guests can enjoy.
This 293-foot high magnificence has 30 floors on its main building and features numerous shops, 16 restaurants, night clubs, five outdoor pools, rivers and waterfalls, two food courts, the MGM Grand Garden Arena where most of the championship boxing and other premier sporting and non-sporting events, and concerts are held, a 380,000-square foot convention center, CBS Television City, the Grand Spa, and the 171,500-square foot casino, the largest in Clark Country. MGM Grand Hotel and Casino also features a glass-sided lion's den in its casino floors. Up to six lions, owned by animal trainer Keith Evans, are shown there every day that can be seen up close with a see-through tunnel.
The word grand it the hotel's name is not there because it sounds good. It also refers to the size of the hotel and its host of features. The main hotel building alone features 4,293 rooms and 751 suites. There are also The Signature at MGM Grand and SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand has 51 lofts and The Mansion at MGM Grand has 29 villas.
SKYLOFTS, as the name suggests, sits on the top two floors of the MGM Grand's main building. It operates semi-independently but it also serves as the hotel's ultra-luxury penthouses. It is the recipient of AAA Five Diamond Award. The award was exclusively given to SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand, not to the whole hotel and casino as a whole. It features a private elevator, a personal concierge and butler for the guests, a luxurious bathroom including a spa-like bathtub and a steam shower and a huge entertainment system that extends throughout the loft.
Featuring 576 suites each, a maximum of five towers is eyed to rise as Signature at MGM Grand. Currently, there are three. This is a condo hotel project, at the MGM Grand. Each tower is a 38-storey 475-foot tall beauty. The project is seated where the MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park once stood.
Whichever way you want to spend your holiday, MGM Grand can help you and give you Maximum Vegas.
